Things have been so hectic lately.
I’m sure all of you remember the earthquake that happened last week, or at least I hope you all remember it. It wasn't that long ago... Of course, as if being trapped in the supermarket for five hours wasn’t bad enough.
I guess that was just the start of my bad luck.
When I finally got home, after walking the entire way back which is a really long way on foot, I was completely exhausted! All I really wanted to do was take a shower and hop in bed. But in the aftermath of the earthquake and with everyone panicking and being trapped for hours, I forgot about a little something.
Bear was here in my apartment completely alone! The poor thing. How could I have forgotten? I felt and still feel absolutely terrible!
When I came back, he was under my bed, whimpering like crazy. It broke my heart. He’s relaxed a lot since then, but he still gets really jumpy whenever he hears any loud noises.
After cleaning up my apartment, which wasn’t too badly damaged surprisingly, I went down to the Rusty Gust to make sure Mister Marshall and the place were alright.
Mr. Marshall was fine, but I guess the Gust couldn’t stand the earthquake. I just hope we can get it fixed and up and running as soon as possible.
I’m still a little down from the whole week, but I know that things will start to look up soon enough! I hope everyone I haven’t talked to is doing alright! We can get through this together!

Good morning, Mr. Marshall! Or, uh, good afternoon if you see this later today!
I just wanted to check in on you before work tonight, sir. I would have called, but I didn't want to interrupt you if you were sleeping!
I was wondering if there was anything you needed, sir. You drank a bit more than usual last night and if you had a really bad hangover, I would hate to make you take care of yourself. I'd be more than happy to bring you over something to eat if you didn't feel up to cooking.
I'm going to go run Bear for a quick walk, so either call or leave me a message here and I'll respond ASAP!

Well, I did it everyone! I got myself a pet!
It was a little spontaneous, but after everyone's wonderful comments and reading things online, I feel very confident in the pet I picked!
( Pet under the cut, sir )

I need a little advice...
Thanks to Mr. Edgeworth's party, I have a bit of extra money to throw around and buy something special for myself. After thinking on it and seeing a few journals around here, I've decided that I want to get a pet!
My only problem is that I've never had any real pets before (pet rocks don't count, right sir?), and I'm not too sure what kind to get.
Any suggestions on a pet that might work well with me? Preferably something that is...durable.

I seem to be a bit late to wish you all this, but Happy Easter!
I spent yesterday at my parent’s house and it was really wonderful. We had a lovely dinner (what we could eat of it, that is) and played a nice game of Scrabble afterwards. They were so excited to hear I had actually won the costume contest at Mr. Edgeworth’s party, that pop knocked over the ham and potatoes and they spilled everywhere. We couldn’t stop laughing for the rest of the night!
This year isn’t that far in and already is off to a wonderful start! I hope everyone had as nice a holiday as I did.
((OOC: Actual after-party entry will be posted after Funk and I finish that scene. :B ))

Hello! Maggey Bryde reporting for duty!
Though I have been blogging online for awhile now, Detective Gumshoe told me about this one in particular and I decided to give it a try. Thank you again, sir!
I suppose I should talk about what I have been up to recently. I just got a new job! My old one didn't quite work out...I really didn't start that fire, sir. You didn't have to yell so loud...
Anyway, I work at the Rusty Gust Saloon now. I even get to wear a cowboy hat.
Please stop on by! I'm been trying to do some of the cowboy speech that Mr. Marshall always does. I think it adds a little something to the atmosphere.
...Oh no.
I think I left the stove onagain.
